Soil nutrient test – NPK
It is a pack of 25 NPK tests (25 tests of each) – Ref: MT6003 – Soil nutrient test – NPK
To test a soil with the Milwaukee NPK Test Kit:
1/ Take 2 to 5 soil samples at a depth of 15cm and mix them to have a representative sample.
2/ Fill a tube with a white cap up to the third line (7.5ml) with MT 5015 liquid.
3/ Add 9 tablespoons of the soil mixture to the tube (with the white spoon)
4/ Cover the tube with its cap, shake and let it rest for 5 minutes
Nitrogen Test (N): Tube with red cap
A/ With a pipette, add 2.5ml of the liquid from the rested mixture (take the liquid without the presence of soil).
B/ Pour the contents of the MT5009-0 Nitrate sachet, cover and shake vigorously for 30 seconds
C/ Let it rest for 30 seconds – you can read the result with the color card N
Phosphorus Test (P): Tube with Blue cap
A/ With a pipette, add 2.5ml of the liquid from the rested mixture (take the liquid without the presence of soil).
B/ Pour the contents of the MT5010-0 Phosphate sachet, cover and shake vigorously for 30 seconds
C/ Let it rest for 30 seconds – you can read the result with the color card P
Potassium Test (K): Tube with yellow cap
A/ With a pipette, add 0.5ml of the liquid from the rested mixture (take the liquid without the presence of soil).
B/ With a pipette, fill up to the lowest mark on the pipette (2.5ml) with MT5015 liquid (Base liquid).
C/ Pour the contents of the MT5002-0 Potassium sachet, cover and shake vigorously for 30 seconds
D/ Let it rest for 30 seconds – you can read the result with the “P” turbimetry card
